we went to vietnam to join the Vietnam 2nd International Choir Competition
i will tell you about the journey to vietnam! ^^ photos coming soon. we haven’t uploaded it yet.
it was a very enjoyable and joyful journey, since i went with my choir team.

that night, 22:30 PM – December 10th 2012, we gathered at a place with our backpacks and baggages, waiting for the time to leave. we were there with our parents, some (including me) are busy texting their relatives and friends that we are going to vietnam and pray so our team can get the champion award. that night was verrrry cold lol i had to wear my warmest sweater >_> and of course… i wait for my crush to arrive lmfao
ok that was odd, just skip that part.
when the place started to fill up with our members, the coach and the assistants gave our baggages a tag and an orange ribbon, so we won’t be confused when it comes to claiming our baggages~
and then the whole team took a photo with our choir team banner ^^ after praying together and saying goodbye to our parents. we went to the bus, taking seats (i chose the seat on the back rows :p) and i sat with my friend, hany.
so there; we, with pounding hearts, waiting for the adventures and of course excitement that awaits when we arrived. a really, really cold night with an air-conditioned bus that freezes our mind to stay focus to our main goal; to win.
(i skipped some part so it won’t be too long)
we arrived at the airport, checked in and waited at the waiting room, received our breakfasts and off to Jakarta.
while on the plane, our team (surprisingly) sat together! we didn’t separated. we took photos on the plane (some took the photos of me and the others sleeping =_=)
after two hours on the plane, we arrived at Jakarta. i don’t know where we went after that, but on the inside we had to show our passports to get to the waiting room. but before that, we took a delicious lunch! the place were filled with our choir team. it was very exciting to see us united like that lol.
after finished, we went to the waiting room and the assistants gave us the ticket; vietnam airlines! *^* i was very excited, the others also. i can see that from their faces lmao
and you know what? vietnam airlines provides a headphone for us to use at the plane, and i found a channel for kpop songs (and they have infinite on the playlist–the chaser!) wow, that thing made me smile the whole journey. for three hours we had to sit patiently until we arrive at Ho Chi Minh City…
also, they gave us yummy foods–choco tiramisu cake, fruits, beef with rice, cold water/juice, warm tea/coffee, and a refreshing tissue. i passionately ate the choco tiramisu cake only. i neglected (…well not really) the others :p
BUT! all of us are suffering from the air pressure; our ears! poor ears cannot take the pressure. mine did hurt a lot, so i tried to yawn to free the air out from my ear (got it?) it was very uncomfortable @_@
my ears are back to normal when we arrived at Ho Chi Minh City’s airport–Tan Son Nhat! but we didn’t get to enjoy more views of Ho Chi Minh, because we only there to transit and continue our journey to Hue City. ;_;
it’s already night, and we’re all exhausted. but ok! one more flight and we will arrive to our destination.
it only took 30 minutes from Ho Chi Minh to Hue. so after we arrived to Hue City, we are happy and there’s already a bus waiting for us. and the bus took us to a ‘hotel’, Song Huong. rated two stars.
